Luas Car Park Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Luas Park & Ride car parks and operate alongside the Luas Bye-laws. By parking in a Luas Park & Ride car park, you accept these terms in full.

Car Park Access

  • Luas Park & Ride car parks operate 24/7 and require payment for parking at all times.
  • Parking spaces are reserved for Luas customers only.
  • Payment for parking does not guarantee a parking space.

Payment

  • Pay for parking before boarding the Tram, either at a Luas Ticket Machine or through the APCOA Connect App.
  • Enter your correct vehicle registration number when paying. This is mandatory, and an incorrect registration number may result in your vehicle being clamped.
  • Payment for parking with an incorrect vehicle registration number may result in your vehicle being clamped.

Parking Bays

  • Park only in numbered, marked bays.
  • Disabled parking bays are reserved for holders of a valid disabled person's parking permit or card.
  • Holders of a valid disabled person's parking permit or card may park in disabled parking bays free of charge. The permit or card must be clearly displayed in the vehicle at all times.

Ticket Verification

If requested by the Clamping Operator before exiting the car park, you must produce one of the following with a Parking Ticket:

  • A valid Luas Ticket
  • A valid Public Services Card with Free Travel
  • A valid Travel Pass
  • A validated Leap Card together with a Parking Ticket

Failure to produce valid proof of payment and travel will result in a non-Luas customer fee of €45.00.

Clamping and Relocation

  • Clamping and relocation operate in line with Section 7 of the Luas Bye-laws and the Vehicle Clamping Act.
  • Clamping fees are payable if your vehicle is clamped.
  • Relocation and vehicle storage fees may also apply if your vehicle is removed. See www.luas.ie/car-parking/ for full details.

Liability

Users of Luas Park & Ride car parks do so entirely at their own risk. Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the Luas Operator, and the Car Park Operator accept no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused.

Acceptance of Terms

Parking in a Luas Park & Ride car park is subject to the Luas Bye-laws and these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not accept these Terms & Conditions, you may leave the car park immediately without incurring a charge.
