NOTE: All sections of this form must be filled out. Please provide accurate detail as requested. Incorrect forms will not be issued a permit number. A permit number may take 3 working days to be issued. Should you have any queries please email: communications@keolisameyluas.ie and include a telephone contact number.

Section 2 - Details of Activity

Please note: A permit will not be granted if the proposed activity could cause offense to Luas passengers and or public.

Section 3 - Conditions for granting of permit

All persons in or around Luas must conduct themselves safely at all times.

Do not block or obstruct the flow of pedestrians or cause them to walk on the track.

  • Do not block the doors of the trams.
  • Do not stand on the tramway.
  • Do not disturb or interfere with passengers or their property.
  • Keolis Amey Light Rail Dublin and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) hereby disclaim all liability for loss or damage to any person in or around Luas on foot of or in connection with this permit, other than personal injury or death caused by an act or omission of Keolis Amey Light Rail Dublin or TII.
  • Ensure that the public are aware that you are undertaking an authorised activity (i.e. I.D. card etc).
  • Have your permit number available if requested by Keolis Amey Light Rail Dublin Staff.
  • Contact the Luas Central Control Room when you arrive at the stop by pressing the Emergency Help Point to the side of the Ticket vending machine or (tel. 01 4614919) and tell them that you are commencing your activity and provide your permit number.
  • Note that any person in or around Luas is covered by the Light Railway (Regulation of Travel and Use) Bye-laws (S.I. No 100 of 2015) which can be obtained at www.luas.ie and that it is an offence to breach these Bye-laws. Please make yourselves aware of these.
  • If requested by a member of Keolis Amey Light Rail Dublin Staff to cease an activity, you must do so immediately
